I am a fully-qualified and accredited specialised life coach, with a previous career working for the NHS for over 20 years. Regarded by many as a specialist and expert in my field. I have spent many years supporting family members harmed and affected by someone else's gambling.
I have a deep understanding of the emotional harms and traumas that can often surround a gambling disorder. It can be a time of isolation, relationships can often break down, accompanied by an overwhelming feeling that there's nowhere to turn to. But there is: I offer a confidential, safe space for you to share your concerns and feelings, my unique practice offers a journey of healing. I promote wellbeing and help reduce relationship and family difficulties, with proven success.
My husband, Peter Shilton CBE, was a gambling addict for over 45 years and this very personal, lived experience has been invaluable in understanding the importance of healing and recovery. Together with my husband, we have made significant impacts in the gambling harm arena. We are published authors in this area, work in close collaboration with the UK's leading gambling harm experts and have been actively involved at the highest level both in the UK and globally in raising awareness of gambling harms and working towards improving the support for affected others.
